Spring season
Spring is one of the four temperate seasons, the transition period between winter and summer. Spring and "springtime" refer to the season, and broadly to ideas of rebirth, renewal and regrowth. The specific definition of the exact timing of "spring" varies according to local climate, cultures and customs.
The Signs of Spring
The signs of spring are everywhere. From the budding of the trees to the new birth of every flower blossom, sprig of grass and animal. The temperatures are warming up and the animals are coming out of their winter dens for the taste and smells of all things new.
The spring activities :
Spring vacation is a great time for families to recharge, get ready for the home stretch of the school year, and have some fun with spring break activities. Whether you’re planning to take it easy at home during spring break , take a fun family trip , create beautiful garden , make yummy ****ies … etc .
Summer season
Definition :
Summer is the warmest of the four temperate seasons, between spring and autumn. At the summer solstice, the days are longest and the nights are shortest, with day-length decreasing as the season progresses after the solstice. The date of the beginning of summer varies according to climate, culture and tradition, but when it is summer in the southern hemisphere it is winter in the northern hemisphere, and vice versa. In areas of the tropics and subtropics, the wet season occurs during the summer. Tropical cyclones develop and roam the tropical and subtropical oceans during the summer. In the interior ofcontinents, thunderstorms can produce hail during the afternoon and evening. Schools and universities have a summer break to take advantage of the warmer weather and longer days.

Timing :
From an astronomical view, the equinoxes and solstices would be the middle of the respective seasons, but a variableseasonal lag means that the meteorological start of the season, which is based on average temperature patterns, occurs several weeks later than the start of the astronomical season.[1] According to meteorologists, summer extends for the whole months of June, July and August in the northern hemisphere and the whole months of December, January and February in the southern hemisphere.[2] This meteorological definition of summer also aligns with the commonly viewed notion of summer as the season with the longest (and warmest) days of the year, in which daylight predominates. From the astronomical perspective, days continue to lengthen from equinox to solstice and summer days progressively shorten after the solstice, so meteorological summer encompasses the build-up to the longest day and a diminishing thereafter, with summer having many more hours of daylight than spring.
Weather :
Summer is traditionally associated with hot dry weather, but this does not occur in all regions. The wet season occurs during summer across many parts of the tropics and subtropics. Where the wet season is associated with a seasonal shift in the prevailing winds, it is known as a monsoon.[8] The wet season is the main period of vegetation growth within the savanna climate regime.[9] However, this also means that wet season is a time for food shortages before crops reach their full maturity.[10] This causes seasonal weight changes for people in developing countries, with a drop occurring during the wet season until the time of the first harvest, when weights rebound.[11] Malaria incidence increases during periods of high temperature and heavy rainfall.[12]
Activities :
People take advantage of the warmer temperatures by spending more time outdoors during the summer. Activities such as traveling to the beach and picnics occur during summer months. Sports such as cricket, volleyball, skateboarding, baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, water polo, and football are played. Water skiing is a uniquely summer sport, which is done when waters approach their warmest of the year.
Summer Fruit :
Summer fruit is a variety of fruits and these fruits are usually abundant in summer. Variety mixtures of the fruits to make many different kinds of food and drink.
Summer fruit includes berries, peaches, apricots, nectarines, plums, melons and even mangoes, lychee nuts, and fresh figs
Summer Clothes :
Taking shorter, warmer showers and baths, more ice creams, drinking plenty of water, increasing other liquid intakes, taking foods high in water content or reaching for the air-conditioner alone can't keep you cool in summer. Take care to protect the body from the harmful effects of the sun and make suitable changes to your dressing too. Bundle up spring clothes and make room for fresh summer clothes that can make you feel absolutely cool. Choose open sandals, shorts, t-shirts for that casual look and head for the beach with your sun dresses, sun hats, bathing costumes and sunglasses

Winter Season

Winter is the coldest season of the year and it is a part of the main seasons found in the temperate zone. In general, winter is characterized by having minimum temperatures and the days of the shortest duration. In the Northern Hemisphere, winter is from winter solstice to vernal equinox.
Duration of Winter :
The official start of the month of winter is different in various cultures and locations. According to recent meteorology the winter months are December, January and February for the Northern Hemisphere. For the Southern Hemisphere they are June, July and August. Even so, many European and East Asian nations regard November as the start of the winter season. The Celtic countries consider November 1 as the beginning of winter whereas according to the Chinese calendar it is from November 7.
Features of Winter:
• The winter nights are usually very long and the days are short.
• In certain areas, there is extremely high precipitation in the form of snowfall and some places remain permanently covered with snow.
• In places where there are blizzards or winter storms a lot of transportation problems are faced.
Winter activities:
There are a number of fun sports and interesting activities associated with winter. To name a few we have:
• Ice skating
• Ice Hockey
• Ice Biking
• Skiing
• Snowball fighting
• Building snowman and snow castles
• Sledging

Autumn season

Autumn comes after summer but before winter, from the first day of September to the last day of November. However the months of autumn depend on what part of the world it is in relation to the equator. While it is autumn in September through November in the United States, Europe, as well as all the other countries in the Northern Hemisphere, for the Southern Hemisphere where Australia, New Zealand, and parts of Africa and Asia lie, autumn comes from March to May. At this time of year, the days start to get shorter as nights grow longer, giving people less daylight to enjoy. For example, in the mornings as children wait for the bus, they will notice in Autumn the sky is still dark when before the sun had already come up.
Signs of the Fall Season :
Autumn is one of the four temperate seasons that includes spring, summer and winter. Some people call autumn, "fall," which refers to the leaves falling off the trees during this season. The falling of the leaves begins when the leaves change colors and go from being green, to burning red, golden yellow and vivid orange. Then as autumn continues, the leaves begin to rain from the tree branches signifying the end of the harvest time. Many people in Canada, the United States,Japan, China and Korea travel around their home countries during autumn just to watch the leaves change colors and fall off the trees because it is such a beautiful site of nature. In fact the tourist season of leaf watching is a popular time to go hiking, camping and enjoying being outside with nature since the temperatures are mild, as the heat of summer has past and the chill of winter has yet to come
