Page # 19 the dream about dinner party the p# 21 when Paula is disappointed by Aubrey when she ave’m letter and he doesn’t say thanks she had expected thanks , his lack of generosity He simply threw the letter into the fire and didn’t show any response that Paula has expected He will appreciate her courage and the pain she gone through while writing this letter for Aubrey . She really wanted to marry and before sh gave him the chance to decided whether he want to marry or not and that because she loved Aubrey she didn’t want him to regret after the marriage ز
P# 27 Paula’s admission of jealousy to Aubrey and her talking about the two kind of love : Only love and love for respect .
P#25 Paula and Ellean talking about dreams and nightmares .
P#72 Aubrey’s speaking optimistically and saying that they’r gonna leave this place and start a new life but Paula sees no hope in it and she speaks pessimistically . She is aware that she is young and has a physical attraction that can charm Aubrey but what dismissing her is her past right ? her past is the biggest Weakness in her but on the other hand her good quality is her beauty and her youth and by this she has charmed Aubrey who loves her . She thinks that when she gets old she will lose her physical charm in that time Aubrey’s love will not be enough to fight society and be in the side of his wife . She thinks that she already is getting old . then she is sure that in that time Aubrey will look at her as other people look ; through the eyes of the society . her physical attraction is a weapon .
