بالأول تكلمت عن ايش راح ناخذ هالترم ... الي هو :
Russian Formalism
ومؤسسينها اثنين تقول مهمين
راح ناخذ نظرية الـ Reader Response والي هي عباره عن shift بالتركيز من الـ text للقارئ
وراح ناخذ Post colonialism المهمين فيه : ادورد سعيد + هومي بابا

فعرفوا عن الـ Russian Formalism عن طريق :
The Russian critics who left Russia & settled in the West for they could not live through its political rules .
They went to Poland , USA , & France ... They worked there in colleges
مثال عالي درسوا بالجامعات : باختين و جاكبسون ... وبدأوا بالكتابه بالانجليزيه و ترجمة الكتب الروسيه إلى الانجليزيه
They believed in meaning but they were concerned with structure
لأن الـ structure هي الطريق للوصول إلى المعنى
Russian believed in the literary language ; therefore, they focused on studying this kind of language . They tried to establish a kind of science that imitate other science , i.e . science that has its rules in studying literary language .
وبعدها قالت انو راح ناخذ defamiliarization فيها 2 schools
1. Opojaz: studying the poetic language.
2. The Moscow linguistic cycle

Russian formalism emphasizes first the autonomous nature of literature and consequently the proper study of literature as neither a reflection of the life of its author , nor as by product of the historical or cultural circles in which it was created. In this respect , the formalist approach to literature attempted not only to isolated and define the formal properties of poetic language , but also to study the way in which certain aesthetically motivated devices determined the literariness or artfulness of the object. provided a content for the functioning of literary devices . The difference between new critic and formalist is that while new critics regarded literature as a form of human understanding , the formalist thought of it as special use of the language. The formalist avoided the new critics tendency to endow aesthetic form and with a cultural significant. They aimed rather to outline models and hypothesis to explain how aesthetic effects are produce by literary devices and how the literary is distinguished from and related to the extra literary.
The formalist method is :
They rejected methods of cultural , historical , psychological , sociological schools of criticism and began to approach literary work as a system of devices. A work of art is a sum of literary devices . A device is only a subject of literary studies. A work of art has no connections with either the personality of its creator or with life and the ideology in which it was created .

عطانا محاضره قصيررھ. انترودكشن للكورس وقال بينزل ملزمه بالكوبي سنتر للكتاب. وتقسيم الدرجات 50 فاينال و50 ميدترم وقال انه ممكن اى محاضره اسوي لكم امتحان مفاجىء وعطانا التوبكات اللےْي بندرسهاا:106:
