It specifically involves a deliberate and radical break with some of the traditional bases not only Western art, but of Western culture in general.

Fascism/ is a radical and authoritarian nationalist political ideology. Fascists believe that a nation is an organic community that requires strong leadership, singular collective identity, and the will and ability to commit violence and wage war in order to keep the nation strong. They claim that culture is created by collective national society and its state, that cultural ideal are what give individuals identity, and thus reject individualism

Grotesque/ The word grotesque coms from the same Latin root as Grotto, meaning a small cave or hollow. In modern English, grotesque has come to used as general adjective for the strange, fantastic, ugly , incongruous, unpleasant, or bizarre, and thus is often used ti describe weird shapes and distorted form such as Halloween masks. In fiction, characters are usually considered grotesque if they induce both empathy and disgust. The grotesque figures in her fantasy world. Carroll manages to make the figures seem less frightful and fit children's literature, but still utterly strange .
