In the name of Allah the compassionate the merciful

Peace be upon you

Like I said something's got my attention in The Rise of The Novel
particularly in (lecture 1) which is, How come the American Revolution
was affected & inspired by the French Revolution
while "the first one" started in 1775 and "the last one" started in 1789, don't you find it strange ?

I'll be waiting for your comments

Take Care and God Bless

Good sign. It is good to think about what you are studying and not just doing it to pass.l

And take the answer for the same question from Dr. Abduljawad Alnadi:l

Revolutions usually take long before they can bear fruit, and the French Revolution took so much time
before it materialized into concrete influential things. When the American Revolution started it has no major
thinkers or leaders to push it forward, and when in France a few years later Voltaire and others motivated
the revolution their ideas provided a lot of momentum to the American Revolution and to many other
revolutions around the world.l
