يعلن كرسي أبحاث الأمان الدوائي عن إقامة " مؤتمر الأمان الدوائي الثاني " بعنوان ( الأمان الدوائي في الرعاية الأولية ) , وذلك بتاريخ 26 - 27 من شهر فبراير في قاعة الأمسيات ، فندق الفيصلية.

About the Meeting
This meeting brings together academic researchers and scientists, intent to disseminate the outcome of scientific medication safety researches in Saudi Arabia and the gulf region as well as international researches focusing patient medication safety and improvement of patient treatment outcome .

The meeting will explore the best possible ways to establish a seamless networking between regional and international medication safety researchers.


Objectives
Share the results of medication safety research within the region.
Establish network between researchers and health care professionals in medication safety.
Discuss new directions in medication safety research and practice in the region.

Medication safety in primary care
2nd scientific meeting on medication safety is a good opportunity to participate in a very important discussion. The views and experiences are very important and can help to shape the way that others think and act.
The Medication Safety Research Chair at King Saud University invites Healthcare quality specialists, pharmacists, physicians, medication safety researchers, and pharmacoepidemiologist to submit abstracts for presentation at its 2nd Meeting in Medication Safety on 26-27 February 2013, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
All those involved in patient safety are encouraged to submit an abstract.
we are interested in the following :


Medication safety in community pharmacies.
Medication safety in primary care clinics.
Use of information technology in primary care.
Role of pharmaceutical industry in medication safety.
Pharmacovigilance and clinical databases.



Criteria for Selection: Abstracts must include all sections to be considered

Background: clearly articulated context for project of research study, including relevant literature
Objective: substantive; clearly stated purpose of the project or research study
Methods: clear description of how the project was conducted and/or implemented, with sound and appropriate project design
Results/Outcomes/Improvements: clear and unambiguous statement of what changed and how
Conclusion: implications of the project beyond the local setting.
Notes

Abstracts are limited to 300 words [ in English]
Abstracts that are not accepted for oral presentation, will be accepted as poster presentation
All submissions must be made on-line
