Idioms :
An idiom is a phrase where the words together have a meaning that is different from the dictionary definitions of the individual words.

So please add an idiom, and explain it by using words or pictures.

And please, no thank you replay or anything that is not about idioms.

couch potato : a person who takes little and no exercise and watches a lot of TV

شخص كسول لا يقوم بأي تمرينات وفي أغلب وقته يسترخي على الأريكة لمشاهدة التلفاز

A couch potato

is a person who spends a lot of time watching television with little or no physical activity. They can do this either sitting or lying down on a couch (or sofa) or even sitting in an armchair.

The idea is that they don’t move very much and a couch potato can sometimes be considered lazy or inactive. Instead of going outside or doing other active activities, they prefer spending long periods of time in front of the television.
This sedentary life-style is often accompanied by unhealthy snacks or junk food.

Example sentences with Couch Potato :

The only thing you do all day is watch TV. You’ve become a real couch potato, haven’t you?
Stop being a couch potato! Turn off the TV and go out and do something with your life.
My husband has become a couch potato since he lost his job. Now all he does is sit in front of the television all day eating pizza.
You should be more active and less of a couch potato. Your body will appreciate it.

تقال عندما يقول شخص ما شئ محرج او مزعج لشخص آخر ، ومن الممكن ان تقولها لنفسك ايضا ً ..

Meaning of Put your foot in your mouth

To say or do something that offends, upsets or embarrasses someone else.
The thing you said (or did) usually gets you into trouble, especially if you hadn’t thought carefully before speaking or doing it.
You embarrass yourself by saying something wrong or inappropriate, something that you should not have said openly.
Sometimes it can be an insensitive or tactless remark that you later regret saying.

B: She is my mother !!
