أولا الاسماء التي تعد Countable Nouns
هي اسماء تستخدم في شكل المفرد او الجمع

1- فـى المفـرد تسبقـها أداة (a-an-the) ونضيف لها (s) فـى حاله الجمع
a/an ---------------- I ve just seen a train / an accident
one --------------- There are 60 seconds in one minute
?the--------------------------- Where is the booke i lent you
He has got five books in his school bag ـــــــــــــــ s) n جمع)


وقد يكون لها شـــاذ مثل :
a child ـــــــــــــــــــchildren
a personـــــــــــــــــــpeople

فــي حاله الجمع قد تسبق بأحــد هذه الكلمــات


any ـــــــــــــــــــ Were ther any mistaks in your homework?
some ـــــــــــــــــــــــــ Some children are haveing apicnic in the park.
many ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ There are not many cars on the road this morning.
How many ـــــــــــــــــــــــــ How many students are there in your class?

two,three, etc ــــــــــــــــــــ There are six CDs and four DVDs on the table .

الاسماء التي لا تعد Uncountable Nouns
هي اسماء مفرده دائما ولا تجمع الادله علي الكميه :
لا تسبقها مباشره ( a ) ولا نضيف لها (s ) الجمع مثل :
water , money , gold . bread . sugar , information , pertrol , homework
لا نضع a امام كلمه money نقول مثلا: it is not a good idea to borrow money

ملحوظه يمكن اضافه a- an قبل الاسماء التي لاتعد مع ادوات التجزئه :
a piece of cake - a sheet of paper - an item of information
