Well is an adverb which is used to describe or to give more information about the verb
e.g
He usually beahaves very well
she doesn't speak English well

Note

the exception case is when we talk about someone's health
like
I'm well now

If you say "You look good." It means they look attractive.
If you say "You look well." It means they look healthy

Note! Younger people might reply to the question "How are you?"
with "I'm good."
