لأنك لو قلتي few يصير المعنى كأنك زعلانة أنه بس شوية ماتوا في الحادث نقدر نقول أن معنى few هو أقل من المطلوب مثلا لما تقولين: I have few friends معناها إنتي موعاجبك إنك عندك عدد قليل من الأصدقاء, تشبهها في المعنى الجملة التالية: I have only few friends بس لما تقولين: I have a few friends معنها انك مبسوطة أنك عندك شوية أصدقاء (أفضل من لاشيء), وهنا خطأ نقول I have only a few friends لأن only توحي بعدم الرضى, بينما a few تشير إلى الرضى, فيصير تضارب في الجملة |
