بسم الله نبدأ المحاضرة الأولى بس بشرح شيء بسيط
يتكلم في هذه المحاضرة عن الخلفية الاجتماعية و التاريخية The Novel: Definitions and Distinctions التعاريف و المميزات v Genre: Fiction and Narrative نوع الرواية خيال و سرد v Style: Prose وبالطبع هي نثر v Length: Extended موسعة كأي رواية مثلاً تبدأ تتكلم عن اسره مثلاً في كوخ وسط الغابة بعدها يبدأ الأطفال بالمغامره عند النهر "توسعت شوي الرواية" يقابلون غرباء على سبيل المثال اشرار يحاولون سرقة قلادة الطفلة..... وتبدأ الرواية بالتوسع أكثر و أكثر v Purpose: Mimesis or Verisimilitude الغرض محاكاة أو شيء محتمل "تعريف الرواية": “The Novel is a picture of real life and manners, and of the time in which it is written.
