الفرق بين any time و anytime

“I DON’T HAVE ANY TIME TODAY. WE CAN MEET ANYTIME NEXT WEEK.”

anytime و any time

إيش الفرق بينهم؟ ومتى نكتبها كلمة وحدة ومتى نكتبها كلمتين

في حالة الكلمتين any time هي الطريقة الأسلم
في بعض الحالات تكون anytime أفضل وتبينك كاتب متمرس، لكن عموما any time صحيحة دائما
وعموما كلمة anytime هي من الكلمات الجديدة في اللغة الإنجليزية وبدأ استخدامها منذ عام 1926م (حسب قاموس ميريام ويبستر)

الفرق بينهم هو أن anytime حي حال adverb، وأحيانا تكون شيء اسمه subordinating conjunction اللي هي الأداة اللي تربط بين عبارتين

بينما any time تعامل معاملة الأسماء أو noun

الحالات اللي يكون فيها استخدام anytime ككلمة واحدة خطأ هي:
لما تجي بعد حروف الجر prepositions، مثلا at
ما يصير نكتب: You can visit me at anytime of the week لأن at لازم اللي يجي بعدها noun وليس adverb
فتكتب You can visit me at any time of the week

لما يكون الكلام عن مقدار الوقت خطأ تكتب كلمة واحدة، مثلا: Do you have anytime to speak with us خطأ
الصحيح نكتبها Do you have any time to speak with us

يعني الكلمة هي حال وليست اسم بمعنى الوقت، فلما نستخدمها في مكان ما بمعنى الوقت راح يكون الاستخدام خاطئ.

وهي مثل حالة will و going to كلمة will صحيحة دائما، بس إذا استخدمت going to في مكانها الصحيح راح تبين متمرس أكثر في اللغة. هذا إذا كنت تكتب بالإنجليزية الأمريكية طبعا، لأن عبارة anytime شائعة في الإنجليزية الأمريكية وليس البريطانية.

الله يسلمك روز

هو أنا بدأت الموضوع أبي أكتب عن كل الصيغ اللي بدايتها Any و Every بس حسيتها بتطول
لأن هناك بعض التفاصيل المختلفة
فقلت أخليه موضوع خفيف وسهل الهضم
وقلت بنزل لهم مواضيع مختلفة إن تمكنت من ذلك

ولو أحد حب ينزل موضوع يشرح (ما يقصد أحد طبعا :biggrin:) فسيكون شيء رائع طبعا

as I know forever means continuously
for ever means for the rest of life

I searched for it a little, and it's a bit complicated

but I found this and I think it's sufficient

archaic (pronounced "arkaik") means very old and not used anymore
