الفضيله ل جيوريج هيربيرت ولد في عائله غنيه في قلعه مونتغمري في واليس في ابريل 3 و1593 كواحد من 9 اطفال والده السير ريشارد هيربيرت مات في 1596 عندما كان جيوريج عمره 3 سنين ووالدته السيده ماقدلين نيوبورت هيربيرت ..كان راعي الشعر ورجل الدين جون من ترأس الدفن عندما هي ماتت في 1627..
هيربيرت اشعاره الاولى السوناتات الاتينيه وكتب قصيده في امه ومات في مارس1,1633 هيربيرت مات بسب مرض السل

نعم هي من الاعمال التراجيدية وقام جون درايدن بتحويرها الي عمل مسرحي في اقرن الثامن عشر مع ان جون درايدن كان من ضمن مجموعة انتقدوا شكسبير لاسرافة في الخيال والتعبير
