WHY DO WE DREAM?
When we sleep, we lose consciousness of ourselves. We do not know what happens to us or even our body. But our subconscious mind still keeps on working. Depending upon our desires, thoughts and events, we see them as dreams. Thus, your mind works in such a way that it fulfils whatever you desire

Usually, dreams are pleasant. However, sometimes they may be frightening causing nightmares. But they are only our frightened fears and emotions that take form of pictures.

Facts about dreams

1. You Forget 90% of Your Dreams

People who are born blind do not see any images, but have dreams equally vivid involving their other senses of sound, smell, touch and emotion.
Every human being dreams. If you think you are not dreaming – you just forget your dreams.

You can have four to seven dreams in one night.

every morning when i have my breakfast with family, i look at them, i say how come i don't remember what did i dream of last night ?

i thought something wrong with me till now, i read your topic then i realized there are too many pple like me :biggrin:

it would be Dreamt if ur speaking British
and dreamed is more common in American English
and unfortunately ,,I speak American English
In either case it is the past tense of the verb "to dream.

both r correct actually, but "dreamt" is the one we were taught at school.

=) thanx alot Tears Of angels such an interesting topic :
i just want to remind every one to say the prayers b 4 sleeping .. and when you frighten from a nightmare
just turn your body on the other side and forget it and do not talk about it or even ask about an explanation
