This quotation is taken from " riders to the sea " by Synge . it is a dialogue between Nora and Cathleen in their cottage . they were talking in alow voice about their mother , and they were hoping that she was sleeping , because she had suffered a lot of pain .

This quotation is taken from " riders to the sea " by Synge . These words are said by Maurya to her son Bartly in their cottage , when Bartly wanted to go to the sea . because she was scared that her son will die like the rest of the men in her family .

These words are said by Maurya . she was talking to herself , and rising her head and speaking as if she did not see the people around her , and that was in the cottage when she knew that her son Bartly had drowned , and his body had been carried to the cottage by the women .

These words are said by Maurya in the cottage , when she was grieving after the death of her son Bartly , and it was in this point when she realized that we all going to die so we must be satisfied . these words were the last words in the play followed by the fall of the curtains .

She was sad when she said that, because she was scared that her son will die like the rest of the men in her family. She was sure that he will be drowned, she hasn’t another son, she is a very old woman and needs help, she told him that his sisters with out any one supports them. They are very poor and weak. She said that to convince her son to stay with them and change his mind.
