I have a question for all of you. I think you may understand my feelings better than anyone else.

what will be your feelings if you told your mother , father , and siblings that you have graduated from university but you didn't feel that they are happy for you? you couldn't even hear the happiness tone in their voices?

Do I have the right to feel frustrated?

First of all, Ramadan Kareem for everybody

My advice for you guys and girls is
To get you language very well, you must practice it
By Listening, Writing, Speaking, Understanding, etc.
In each individual one.

For me, at first, all I was thinking about is words. So I can help myself understand what I hear
Then, thought about grammar to organize my taking
After that, I thought about speaking, How can I speak a word and how to use it.

You can learn all of these by watching movies or TV-shows with ENGLISH subtitles, not Arabic one
You'll find it hard at first to try to translate most the words, but eventually you'll like it and keep going
By doing this, you listening to how to say the word and know its meaning

Another thing to try is listening to the English Radio Channel
Try 107.9 I love this channel because of some programs they broadcast
Dr. Lura, Puzzles, and many things

One more thing about reading
Find what you like to read in the Internet
For example, I like reading about sports, so I always check BBC.com, Arsenal.com, SkySports.com
Believe me it won't be easy at first to understand most of the words, but with time you'll get used to it and be fine


Finally, sorry about my long writing
I started liking it from high school. And I can't help myself sometimes
When I'm on fire, I can't stop it
I found it easier to write in English than in Arabic
My thoughts are more organized that way :o3:

I won't blame if you did, but I think you should keep up your good work and try something else with them

I believe the family have to be there with you in all of this
For me, I do most of my things for them
All I think about is making them happy
The happiness and smile in their faces worth everything that I do in my life

Remember, don't get disappointed and down for this
You just have to work harder to make them acknowledge you and feel ya
And don't forget to Pray for God because it'is very helpful
Thank god we're Muslims
