بغيت اسئلكم اراء النقاد الي بالنوفل الاولى احفظها ولا ؟ لاني بصراحه ماذاكرتهم باالمد ترم و انا للاسف ماشريت ملازم الدكتور صلاح حقت رواييته الثانيه ال HEART OF DARKNESS مدري اذا هو منزل ولا لا لانه اخر ملزمه من التفريغ رقم 12 فيه اشياء مثل السيمبلوزم كلها بالنوت الي تقدر فيكم تعطيني سمري او بريف عن السيمبلوزم و + naming and un-naming و rhythmic language |

What makes Heart of Darkness- A Passage to India colonial texts?
Characters in Heart of Darkness are not British. They are Europeans. This is very integral to Conrad's message. The company itself is Belgium. We have a Russian trader, a French ship. They are mainly European settlers. What is Conrad's message in Heart of Darkness? He is showing the behaviors of the European when they leave the centre of civilization and go to the colonies. He is against imperialism. We can interpret the novel on different levels. We can look at it as an example of colonial literature. It is an example of human literature in which we can see Conrad's interest in showing his views of human literature. The context is colonization. He is showing us human nature by focusing on the behavior of the white colonizers when they go to the colonies under the objective of bringing civilization to the uncivilized colonies. This is the context. But mainly, the major issue, the symbolical significance related to human nature. The novel is very symbolical. Even the certain details that are found are very significant. They relate to the main concern of Conrad of human nature. To whom is Conrad directing his message? He is directing his message to the colonizers, to the British people at home who were made to believe that imperialism is really doing a very good job to humanity- that they are bringing light and civilization to other parts of the world. Why does Conrad make his characters European? Conrad is British. Why does not he pick his characters from British society? He wants to generalize- not only to direct his message to the British. It is some sort of detachment to make the British being able to see the situation. It is a very common technique in literature to make some sort of detachment which will achieve some sort of objectivity in understanding the message. We can look at Heart of Darkness as a classical novel. Classical novels still convey messages to people through different generations. It can help us to understand the issue of colonization. The novel can be also interpreted to apply to other situations. What is the most important element in the novel –in which element Conrad criticizes- is it in the style- characters- the plot- themes? Conrad is trying to emphasize the importance of the themes in the novel because they are related to his message. There are two major characters in the novel- Marlow and Kurtz. We do not have a protagonist. There is something unique. We have types of characters, not heroic. There are two narrators in the novel, Marlow and the other narrator is unnamed. The way Marlow observing things is very important in the novel. He is an observer. He is expressing Conrad's views about these issues. The type of narration makes it difficult to determine the writer's view. It is an element that the critics talks about. Colonization = imperialism is an important issue- themes in the novel. |

ملازمه للرواية الاولى تكفي بس اقري الكوتيشنز اللي بالتفريغ عشان لو جاب منها شي لان سؤال الكوتيشن بيكون اجباري >نفس السمستر اللي فات.. الرواية الثانية 3 محاضرات التفريع + اضافات من النت.. اتوقع المحاضرة الاخيرة احتمال كبير تجي بالامتحان |
