كان الملل قد تسلل إلى أعماق روحه فتشربته تشرب قميصه القطني لحبيبات العرق في هذه الظهيرة الثقيلة. تصفح عناوين الكتب القيمة التي لم يجد لها مكاناً يحشرها فيه سوى غرفة نومه. أشاح بوجهه بعيداً عنها. بدأ يتصفح أوجه أطفاله البالغين الذين رآهم غارقين بعوالمهم المنيعة عليه والتائهة عنه. حاول اللعب مع ولده الذي لم يتجاوز العاشرة من عمره فوجده منهمكاً بل منهكاً في متابعة لعبة أسرت لبه أمام شاشة الكمبيوتر. انتظر فترة من الزمن يرمق ولده هذا عله ينتهي من لعبته, غير أن الأخير كان يعيد اللعبة الكرة تلو الكرة, بتصميم وإرادة اكبر في سبيل تحقيق نقاط أعلى. بدأ بمناوشة الصغير محاولا تحريضه على ترك اللعب, غير أن الجهود كلها باءت بالفشل

The boredom has leaked into the depths of his soul in hot noon. He scanned the titles valuable books that didn't find a place only his bedroom. He turned his face away from her. عن أبي هريرة - رضي الله عنه - قال : قال رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم : ( من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فليكرم ضيفه ، ومن كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر ، فلا يؤذ جاره ، ومن كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فليقل خيرا أو ليصمت " رواه الشيخان

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "He who believes in Allah and the Last Day let him not harm his neighbour; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day let him show hospitality to his guest; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day let him speak good or remain silent

On the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "No man is a true believer unless he desires for his brother that, what he desires for himself

عَنْ عُثْمَانَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ ، : " إِنَّ أَفْضَلَكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ "
"رواه الشيخان"

Narrated `Uthman:
The Prophet said, "The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it."

ابن عمر قال : قال قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ: ( بُنِيَ الْإِسْلَامُ عَلَى خَمْسٍ شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ وَحَجِّ الْبَيْتِ وَصَوْمِ رَمَضَانَ ) رواه الشيخان

On the authority of Ibn Omar said : messenger of Allah said:"Islam has been built on five [pillars]: testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammed is the messenger of Allah, performing the prayers, paying the zakat, making the pilgrimage to the House, and fasting in Ramadan

أما بعد أيها الناس ، فإن لكم على نسائكم حقا ، ولهن عليكم حقا ، لكم عليهن أن لا يوطئن فرشكم أحدا تكرهونه ، وعليهن أن لا يأتين بفاحشة مبينة ، فإن فعلن فإن الله قد أذن لكم أن تهجروهن في المضاجع وتضربوهن ضربا غير مبرح ، فإن انتهين فلهن رزقهن وكسوتهن بالمعروف واستوصوا بالنساء خيرا . فإنهن عندكم عوان لا يملكن لأنفسهن شيئا ، وإنكم إنما أخذتموهن بأمانة الله ، واستحللتم فروجهن بكلمات الله .

O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have right over you. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to commit adultery

(قِصَّةُ أَصْحَابِ الْغَارِ الثَّلاثَةِ)
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ "صلى الله عليه وسلم"قال "خَرَجَ ثَلاثَةٌ يَمْشُوْنَ فَأَصَابَهُمُ الْمَطَرُ، فَدَخَلُوا فِي غَاْرٍ فِي جَبَلٍ، فَانْحَطَّتْ عَلَيْهِمْ صَخْرَةٌ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ: ادْعُوا اللهَ بِأَفْضَلِ عَمَلٍ عَمِلْتُمُوْهُ. فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمْ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ كَانَ لِيْ أَبَوَانِ شَيْخَانِ كَبِيْرَانِ، فَكُنْتُ أَخْرُجُ فَأَرْعَى، ثُمَّ أَجِيءُ فَأَحْلُبُ فَأَجِيءُ بِالْحِلابِ، فَآتِي بِهِ أَبَوَيَّ فَيَشْرَبَانِ، ثُمَّ أَسْقِيْ الصِّبْيَةَ وَأَهْلِيْ وَامْرَأَتِي، فَاحْتَبَسْتُ لَيْلَةً، فَجِئْتُ فَإِذَا هُمَا نَاْئِمَانِ، قَالَ : فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أوقِظَهُمَا، وَالصِّبْيَةُ يَتَضَاغَوْنَ عِنْدَ رِجْلَيَّ، فَلَمْ يَزَلْ ذَلِكَ دَأْبِي وَدَأْبَهُمَا حَتىَّ طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنِّيْ فَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ ابْتِغَاْءَ وَجْهِكَ، فَافْرُجْ عَنَّا فُرْجَةً نَرَى مِنْهَا السَّمَاْءَ، قَالَ: فَفُرِجَ عَنْهُم. وَقَالَ الآخَرُ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنِّيْ كُنْتُ أُحِبُّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ بَنَاْتِ عَمِّيْ كَأَشَدِّ مَا يُحِبُّ الرَّجُلُ النِّسَاءَ، فَقَاْلَتْ: لا تَنَاْلُ ذَلِكَ مِنْهَا حَتَّى تُعْطِيَهَا مَائَةَ دِيْنَارٍ، فَسَعَيْتُ فِيْهَا حَتَّى جَمَعْتُهَا، فَلَمَّا قَعَدْتُ بَيْنَ رِجْلَيْهَا قَالَتْ: اتَّقِ اللهَ وَلا تَفُضَّ الْخَاتَمَ إِلاَّ بِحَقِّهِ، فَقُمْتُ وَتَرَكْتُهَا، فَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنِّيْ فَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ ابْتِغَاْءَ وَجْهِكَ، فَاْفرُجْ عَنَّا فُرْجَةً، قَالَ: فَفَرَجَ عَنْهُمُ الثُّلُثَيْنِ.
وَقَالَ الآخَرُ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنِّيْ اسْتَأْجَرْتُ أَجِيْرَاً بِفَرَقٍ مِنْ ذُرَةٍ فَأَعْطَيْتُهُ، وَأَبَى ذَاكَ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ، فَعَمَدْتُ إِلَى ذَلِكَ الفَرَقِ فَزَرَعْتُهُ، حَتَّى اشْتَرَيْتُ مِنْهُ بَقَرَاً وَرَاْعِيْهَا، ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَقَالَ: يَا عَبْدَ اللهِ أَعْطِِنِيْ حَقِّيْ، فَقُلْتُ: انْطَلِقْ إِلَى تِلْكَ الْبَقَرِ وَرَاعِيْهَا فَإِنَّهَا لَكَ، فَقَالَ: أَتَسْتَهْزِئُ بِي؟ فَقُلْتُ: مَا أَسْتَهْزِئُ بِكَ وَلَكِنَّهَا لَكَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنِّيْ فَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ ابْتِغَاْءَ وَجْهِكَ فَافْرُجْ عَنَّا، فَكُشِفَ عَنْهُمْ".

On the authority of Ibn Omar said : messenger of Allah said
Three men, amongst those who came before you, set out until night came and they reached a cave, so they entered it. A rock fell down from the mountain and blocked the entrance of the cave. They said: `Nothing will save you from this unless you supplicate to Allah by virtue of a righteous deed you have done.' Thereupon, one of them said: `O Allah! I had parents who were old, and I used to offer them milk before any of my children or slaves. One day, I went far away in search of grazing and could not come back until they had slept. When I milked as usual and brought the drink I found them both asleep. I hated to disturb them and also disliked to give milk to my children before them. My children were crying out of hunger at my feet but I awaited with the bowl in my hand for them to wake up. When they awoke at dawn, they drank milk. O Allah! If I did so to seek Your Pleasure, then deliver us from the distress caused by the rock'. The rock moved slightly but they were unable to escape. The next said: `O Allah! I had a cousin whom I loved more than any one else (in another version he said: as a man can love a woman). I wanted to have sexual intercourse with her but she refused. Hard pressed in a year of famine, she approached me. I gave her one hundred and twenty dinars on condition that she would yield herself to me. She agreed and when we got together (for sexual intercourse), she said: Fear Allah and do not break the seal unlawfully. I moved away from her in spite of the fact that I loved her most passionately; and I let her keep the money I had given her. O Allah! If I did that to seek Your Pleasure, then, remove the distress in which we are.' The rock moved aside a bit further but they were still unable to get out. The third one said: `O Allah! I hired some labourers and paid them their wages except one of them departed without taking his due. I invested his money in business and the business prospered greatly. After a long time, he came to me and said: O slave of Allah! Pay me my dues. I said: All that you see is yours - camels, cattle, goats and slaves. He said: O slave of Allah! Do not mock at me. I assured him that I was not joking. So he took all the things and went away. He spared nothing. O Allah! If I did so seeking Your Pleasure, then relieve us of our distress.' The rock slipped aside and they got out walking freely

يدخل شايلوك وسلانيو وانطونيو والسجان
شايلوك : حذار أن يفلت منك أيها السجان , ولا تحدثني عن الرحمة فهو الأبله الذي كان يقرض المال دون فائدة , حذار أن يهرب منك.
انطونيو : شايلوك الطيب.. اسمعني.
شايلوك : ستنفذ شروط العقد , فلا أسمعنك تسفهها. وقد أقسمت على نيل حقي .. كنت تدعوني كلبا قبل أن يكون لديك سبب يدفعك إلى هذا. وحيث أني كلب فاحذر من أنيابي. وسيلزم الدوق بمقتضيات العدالة.. أني لأعجب منك أيها السجان الخبيث إذ تبلغ منك الحماقة حد الخروج به من السجن استجابة لطلبه.
انطونيو : أتوسل إليك أن تسمعني.
شايلوك : سأنال حقي ولن أسمعك .. ستنفذ شروط العقد فلا معنى لمزيد من الكلام . ولن اسمح لنفسي بان الين وان اخدع , فأهز رأسي وأتراجع وأتنهد واستجيب لشفاعة مسيحين.. لا تتبعني! فما اقبل حديثا منك . وسأنال حقي..

What is Creative Translation ?

The Meaning of Creativity as a Noun or a Verb

معنى الإبداع كاسم أو فعل

The origin of the word creativity comes from the Latin term creō "to create, make":The word "create" appeared in English as early as the 14th century, notably in Geoffrey Chaucer (1340-1400, to indicate divine creation in the Parson’s Tale.)

أصل كلمةcreativityتأتي من creō المصطلح اللاتيني "خلق، وصنع": كلمة "خَلقَ "create"ظهرت في اللغة الإنجليزية في بداية القرن الرابع عشر
خصوصا في Geoffrey Chaucer,1340-1400لتشير الى الخلق الالهي divine creation

In Arabic, you need to be very careful when translating words like: to create, creation, creator as these words still have their own religious connotations such as : خَلقَ،خَلْقُ،خَاِلقُyou could always use alternatives such as : اخترع،أوجد،أبدع،وغيرهاthis will depend on the type of text and the context it is used in.

باللغة العربية، عليك أن تكون حذراً جداً عند ترجمة كلمات مثل: خلق، خلق، الخالق
to create, creation, creatorكما أن هذه الكلمات لا تزال الدلالات الدينية الخاصة بهم مثل ما: خَاِلقُ خَلْقُ، خَلقَ، يمكن دائماً استخدام البدائل مثل: أبدع، أوجد، اخترع،وغيرها هذا سوف يعتمد على نوع النص والسياق الذي استخدم فيه.
