I usually drink pepsi while eating. I go to work everyday -- Dear Students, Some poor students don’t know the difference between simple present and present progressive. Can you explain to us the difference between them? Give us some examples. Please give us the question form, the negative form of each verb tense. What’s non-action verb? We use the simple present : 1. For facts. Whales live in the ocean. Aconcagua is the highest mountain in Latin America. 2. For repeated or regular actions. Flights to Buenos Aires leave every hour. I eat breakfast at the table. 3. For habits. I brush my teeth three times a day. He only drinks Martinis. 4. For things that are generally true in the present time period: She is my girlfriend. We study English. We use the present progressive tense: 1. When somebody is doing something at this moment. Sarah is changing her clothes right now. 2. When something is happening at this moment. When the action has started but hasn't finished. It is snowing at the moment. 3. To talk about something that is happening around the time of speaking but not necessarily at that exact moment. I'm reading a great book. (not necessary right at this moment) Non-action verbs are the verbs that cannot be used in the progressive tenses. Non-action verbs are: dislike , hear , believe , hate , see , know , like , smell , think , love , taste , understand , need & want |

Making sentences using verb to "be" (am, is, are). 2.Articles (a, an) 3. subject nouns (singular, plural, pronouns) a, noun + is + noun: singular b. noun+ are + noun: plural c. pronoun + Be + noun 4. Contractions with BE. 5. Negative with BE 6. BE + ADJECTIVES 7. Be + places 8. Yes/No question with Be. 9. Short answers to Yes/No questions. 10. Some feeling vocabulary. 11. Finally, Using Have and Has In our discussion, here, try to write one lesson that you have got from this first lecture. Try to answer this question "Have you learned anything new from this lesson? if yes, tell us what you've learned. If no, do you think this lesson isn't necessary? why do you think so? Answer one of the following questions. What are the four locations or positions of Adverbs of frequency? Give me an example for each position. OR What’s the difference between simple past tense and the past progressive? Give me examples. حلهآ :: the simple past to indicate exactly when an action or event took place in the past. Ex. I visited my sister yesterday. The past progressive is used to talk about an activity that was in progress at a specific point of time in the past. The emphasis is on the duration of the activity in the past. Ex. We were walking in the park around 7 p.m. last night. ........................ المنآقشة 10 :: Dear Students, What are the eight parts of speech in English? حلهآ:: nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, interjections .................. المنآقشة 11:: n our 11th lecture, we discuss the difference between comparatives and superlatives. Discuss the rules of each one, giving some examples حلهآ :: Rules of comparatives: A= if the adjective is short,we add(-er+than) after the short adjective ex: Ahmed is shorter than Noor. B= if the adjective is long,we add(more+adjective+than) ex: Airplane is more comfortable than car. C= if the adjective is irrigular , the adjective will be as the following ex: honey is better than sugar. **Rules of superlative: A= if the adjective is short,we add( the adjective+est+of or in) ex: Aya is the tallest in her class. B= if the adjective is long,we add( the most\least+adjective+of or in) ex: Palestine is the most beautiful country in the world ............................. المنآقشة 12:: In our 12th lecture, we focus on the uses of comparatives and superlatives. Discuss these uses, giving some examples. حلهآ:: comparatives : To compare between two things or persons . Ex. Ibrahim is powerful then ahmad superlatives : To compare between more then two things , persons or places . Ex. Ibrahim is the most powerful person in the world . ........................... المنآقشة 13:: What is/are the difference(s) between/among the article “the” and “zero article”? Provide your explanation(s) with example(s). حلهآ :: "Tha" can be used when the noun is specific or particular. we used "the" befor: names of rivers ,deserts, forests, gulfs, and penínsulas. zero artical" before: names of most countries,cities, towns,streets,continents ,islands ,names of lakes & mountains ........................ المنآقشة 14:: In the 14th lecture, we have a short review of the main topics of this course. Discuss one of the topics that you most like. حلهآ:: I like the new vocabulary and the paragraph about families and the changes that's happened all over the world . All these makes my language more rich. |

باالنسبه للمناقشه يتم كتابة الحل فقط او المناقشه والحل ؟ ايضا هل هذه يتم حلها اثناء الفصل الاول كاملا والف شكر على المجهود الأكثر من رائع |

when the subject of the sentence is not known, there is no inversion. Explain this with example.
المناقشه السابعه مساااعده لو سمحتم مو نفس اللي فوق وكمان الثاااامنه وجزيتم الجنه 8-Countable nouns take definite and indefinite articles and admit a plural form. Explain this with example. |
