What Can I Learn from Criticism?
Most criticism is probably based, at least in part, on some truths. Criticism may appear negative. But, through criticism we have the opportunity to learn and improve .



How to deal with Criticism

Respond to the suggestions not the tone of the criticism
.
we need to separate the criticism from the style of criticism. Even if people speak in a tone of anger, we should try to detach their emotion from the useful suggestions which lie underneath.

Value criticism.
The problems is that , we only value praise. When people speak kind words we feel happy. When people criticise we feel miserable. However, if we only received insincere praise and false flattery, how would we ever make progress?

Don’t take it personally
When people criticise us directly, we should feel they are not criticising our real self; but, just an a small aspect of ourselves



After being criticized
, THANK THEM FOR THEIR ADVICE and promise to take it into consideration
CONSIDER THE SOURCE. The person criticizing you may be incompetent, envious, or jealous. If so, after thanking them for their advice, just brush it off
.
Smiling, even a false smile, can helps us to relax more. It creates a more positive vibration and smoothes the situation

yes, after i evaluate the criticism that i got from him, and if he is right i'll thank him deeply, but if I one percent felt that he is jealous or something like that, i'll tel him its unaccepted behaivor.

If the person is good enough to criticize and her way is acceptable , sure I'll benefit of what she said

and re-evaluate myself

If she isn't and criticize for another reasons .. her criticism will be NONSENSE !

All the time

how do you deal with criticism
first i have to remind everyone that there are no right/wrong
answers to this question, there is only me answer. I myself always
ask my friends saying "if it's not about religon, please do not
critcize nor advice me". however, you can not control people so
i get some of it sometimes. my way to deal with it is to wait till
that person finish talking and then walk away or as we say here in
The Kingdom "tsleeeek". because i strongly believe that it should
come from within not without. Meaning that one should use
critical thinking in his/her own life. and if one fail in any decision
he or she had made although everyone told them so. i believe
that's great because this is one of the advantages
of life/ages/time (call it what you like) which is it teaching you
what no ever could ever thought you. and
make you "well-done" when others were
going to "burn" you cause they're in hurry for you
to get there too fast. however, there is
no shortcuts in this life

oh yeah, if it is coming from someone else not oneself i
think IT MUST BE IGNORED by letting it pass on as
if nothing had happend aka Tsleeek.. however, i see
where you are coming from and i understand it as i
understand that there are plenty of ways to learn things
about yourself or others without harming anyone. Also, know that
i'm only talking here about human using it
between each other to judge personalities
but in every other field i think it's one of the best tools
to be used if not the best
