الهيتروقلوشيا تعتبر نتيجه للدايلوجيزم

يعني الدايلوجيزم any utterance should have at least a social and historical dimension

والهيتروقلوشيا شخصيات متنوعه يتواصلون مع بعض ويؤدي هذا التواصل ل different voices وتقولين إن هذا التنوع بالشخصيات create dialougic atmosphere

Orientalism by Edward Said...
From Dr Nagla’s lectures...
It has three interdependent meanings:
1- Academic meaning<<<the study of the Orient. The person who studies the Orient, whatever the field is, is called orientalist. The oriental is the eastern person.
2- The general idea that the west has about the east, and the west is just the opposite to whatever the east is.
3- The historical background...the Orient has its history that is documentd and shouldn’t be ignored. It is documented in history( in Fanon’s book The Wretched of the Earth) how the occident (the west) enforced its power on the Orient ( the east).

There are there qualifications or qualities for Orientalism...
1- The main idea<<<the east is an idea that has a history and tradition of thought, imagery and vocabulary that have given it reality. The east and the west are two geographical entities that support and reflect each other.
2- Configuration power<<< each one of them has its power. Power in itself has different kinds, not necessary to be military. So, it’s wrong to take over one another.
3- The studies of the Orient shouldn’t be based on lies and myths built around the Orient.

Materiality of literature<<< a literary text is an object that has details relating it to life. These details make literary works differ from one another.
Culture<<< the west and the east have different cultures that either live in harmony together or fight each other.
Filiation = (biological relations) and affiliation = (connectedness with others through religious and intellectual basis)<<< Said believes that intellectuals should be free from the politics of governments. For example, Rudyard Kipling, who is an English writer, wrote about India from his English perspective; this is to be filiative. He is an English writer writing from the point of view of the government of England, writing in a typical way of thinking of thwe colonizer.
