Parallelism: A rhetorical device which expresses several ideas in a series of similar structures.

Politicians use parallel structures when they want to draw attention to a particular part of their message:

E.g.
“we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets. Winston Churchill1940

This can serve to emphasize that
the ideas are equal in importance
and add a sense of symmetry and rhythm,
make the speech more memorable

التوازي :
هو التعبير عن عدة افكار في سلسلة لها تركيب متماثل

السياسيون يستخدمون التوازي حينما يريدون لفت الانتباه الى جزء معين من الرسالة .

مثال : سنحارب على الشواطئ سنحارب على ارض الهبوط سنحارب على الحقول وفي الشوارع [ ونستون ]

هذا يخدم غرض التأكيد على :

ان جميع تلك الافكار متساوية في الاهمية
اضافة حس بالتماثل والايقاع
جعل الخطاب اكثر تأكيدا وتذكرا
