Direct vs . Indirect Objects::
As we saw in the previous section, ditransitive verbs take two objects. One of these objects is called a directs object and the other one is called an indirect object.
The indirect object comes first followed by the direct object in this exampl
e.g. He gave me a book..

directs object هذا يطلق عليه مفعول به مباشر بالفعل
indirect object.هذا النوع مفعول به غير مباشر
The Indirect objects is typically personal as in “me” in the previous example, and “the man” in the following example:
He asked the man a question.
The indirect object is often equivalent to a prepositional phrase with “to” or “for”.
e.g. He gave a book to me.
He bought a gift for his son.
