2- Course Content:
English Thought and Culture: focuses on different movements and factors that have influenced English thought and literature. Also, it looks at important movements in English thought and literature, and refers to the historical background to English literature, thought and culture. This course will provide students with tools & skills for cross-cultural communication and dialogue with others.

الإنجليزية الفكر والثقافة: يركز على الحركات و العوامل التي أثرت في الفكر والأدب اللغة الإنجليزية المختلفة . أيضا ، فإنه يبحث في الحركات مهمة في اللغة الإنجليزية الفكر و الأدب ، و يشير إلى الخلفية التاريخية ل الأدب الإنجليزي والفكر و الثقافة. وهذا بالطبع سوف تزويد الطلاب بالأدوات و المهارات للتواصل بين الثقافات والحوار مع الآخرين.
3- Course rationale:
This course has been suggested because:
1- It prepares students for subsequent courses.
2- It provides students with a thorough intellectual background about the foundations of English thought, literature and culture.
3- It is needed because it enables students to appreciate and discuss English thought and culture
3 - الأساس المنطقي الدورة:
وقد اقترح هذه الدورة للأسباب التالية:
1 - وهو يهيئ الطلاب لل دورات اللاحقة.
2 - و يوفر للطلاب مع خلفية الفكرية شامل حول أسس الإنجليزية الفكر والأدب و الثقافة.
3 - وهناك حاجة لأنها تمكن الطلاب من نقدر و مناقشة الفكر والثقافة الانجليزية
4- Course objectives
By the end of the course, students should be able to:
1- Demonstrate knowledge of some of the themes in English and American thought, literature and culture.
2- Be ready to take courses in English language and literature and recognize some of their cultural context.
3- Learn to appreciate some of the great writers in the English language.
؟ ؟ أهداف الدورة - 4 ؟ ؟
بحلول نهاية الدورة، يجب أن يكون الطلاب قادرين على:
1 - إظهار معرفة بعض المواضيع باللغة الإنجليزية والفكر الأمريكي والأدب و الثقافة.
2 - كن مستعدا ل أخذ دورات في اللغة الإنجليزية والأدب و التعرف على بعض من السياق الثقافي.
3 - تعلم أن نقدر بعض كبار الكتاب في اللغة الإنجليزية.
5- Teaching methods:
The course makes use of the following teaching/learning methods:
1- Lectures given by the teacher.
2- Teacher-prepared materials & presentations.
3- Student's presentations and discussions of assigned topics
4- Quizzes and assignments.

و بالطبع يجعل من استخدام أساليب التدريس / التعلم التالية :
1 - محاضرات تعطى من قبل المعلم .
