#manner of articulation : أسلوب النطق أو طريقة النطق
1/stops : التوقف - stopping of the air stream then letting it go abruptly
أصوات نقوم فيها بمنع الهواء ثم تركه بسرعه
2/fricatives : الأحتكاك - blocking the air stream حبس الهواء
3/affricates : انفجاري - stopping of the air stream with an obstructed release وقف تيار الهواء مع اطلاق متعسر
ونقدر نربط التعريف بكلمة friction = احتكاك
4/nasals : انفي - nose
5/ liquids : صامت sound led or red described as liquids
6/Glides الأنزلاقي - discribed ad glides الصوت الناتج عن وضع اللسان بوضعية الانزلاق
