1. An invitation to wedding
دعوة عرس
Different countries celebrate weddings with different traditions.
مناطق مختلفه يحتفلون بالزواجات بعادات مختلفه
Here are some tradition in the U.S. the United Kingdom, and Australia:
هنا بعض من العادات الموجوده في بريطانيا واستراليا
2. Before the wedding
قبل العرس
Before the wedding the bride’s family sends out invitations.
قبل العرس اهل العروس يرسلون الدعوات
Some weddings happen at midday; others happen in the afternoon or morning.
بعض العروس تحدث في منتص اليوم او بعد الضهر او الصبح
The bride and groom go to with their families for a wedding ceremony.
العروس والعريس يذهبون مع عائلاتهم الى مراسم الزواج
At the ceremony, the bride and groom make promises, then they sign the wedding register.
في المراسم العروس والعريس يقولون الوعود وبعدها يوقعون عقد الزواج
The main bridesmaid, usually a friend or relative of the bride, holds the bride flowers in the ceremony.
وصيفت العروس الاساسيه بالعادة تكون من الاصدقاء او من الاهل العروس وتحمل ورود العروس في المراسم
After the ceremony, the bride and groom usually travel together to the reception in a large car, decorated with ribbons.
بعد المراسم العروس والعريس عالاغلب يرحلون مع بعض الى الاستقبال في سيارة كبيرة مزينه بالزينة
3. The reception
الاستقبال
The reception happens at the bride’s house, a hotel or large country house.
الاستقبال يحدث في بيت العروس او فندق او بيت ريفي كبير
Before the reception, a photographer takes photos of the bride and groom and their families.
قبل الاستقبال المصور يلتقط صور للعروس والمعرس وعائلاتهم
The photographer also takes more photos at the reception.
المصور ياخذ المزيد من الصور في الاستقبال
All the guests enjoy a meal together.
كل الضيوف يستمتعون على الوجبه مع بعض
At the end of the meal some people make speeches.
في نهاية الوجبه بعض من الناس يلقون خطابات
They wish the bride and groom “good health” and “great happiness”.
الامنيات للعروس والعريس بالصحه الجيدة والسعادة
Then the bride and groom cut their wedding cake.
بعدين العروس والعريس يقطعون كيكة العرس
This is a good chance to take photos.
هذة فرصه جيدة لاالتقاط الصور
After wedding, the bride and groom leave the reception and go on vacation together.
بعد العرس العروس والعريس يرحلون من الاستقبال ويرحلون في عطله مع بعض
This is called ‘honey moon’.
هذا يسمى بشهر العسل
When the guests leave, they often receive a small bag of ‘jordan almonds’ nuts covered in sugar to take home with them.
عندما يرحل الضيوف انهم على الاغلب يستلمون حقيبه من اللوز الاردني المغطى بالسكر ياخذونه للبيت.
