it looks similar a bit to forever and for ever

as I know forever means continuously
for ever means for the rest of life

I hope I am not mistaken
I searched for it a little, and it's a bit complicated

but I found this and I think it's sufficient

it describes "for ever" as archaic

archaic (pronounced "arkaik") means very old and not used anymore

and about the word "anymore", I found this
