عندما قارب وقت تخرجها من الكلية

Her medical training there lasted another six years
استمر التدريب الطبي لها هناك ست سنوات أخرى

she also taught math and science in the high school
وهي طالبة طب

,,,,,She recalls that her own studying took a lot of energy
,,There was a lot of material to cover
Sometimes it took hours and hours, sometimes nights and nights
وتتذكر بأن دراستها أخذت منها الكثير من الطاقة

,,she loved to read
,,to dance

and she made her own dresses
كانت تطرز
وكانت تصنع أثوابها بنفسها
,,,,She remembers her childhood as a happy time
,,,,,,,because she was living with her family
Someday she will go back to Haiti to live
تتذكر طفولتها كطفوله سعيدة
لأنها كانت تعيش مع عائلتها
في يوم ما ستعود لهاييتي لتعيش هناك
,In 1982
,,,,,Dr. Baptiste left Haiti to come to the U.S
,,,,,,,,to receive more advanced medical training
,,,She lived in New York for two years
and then came to Cambridge City Hospital
في عام 1982
د. بابتايست تركت هاييتي لتذهب الى الولايات المتحدة الامريكية
لتتلقى تدريبا طبيا متقدما أكثر.
عاشت في نيويورك لمدة سنتين
ثم ذهبت الى مستشفى مدينة كامبردج
,,,,,,,In the beginning it was difficult
,,because of the language barrier
and because it is a different society
في البداية كان الأمر صعبا
بسبب حاجز اللغه
ولأنه مجتمع مختلف
,,,,,,,,,,But in the long run
,,,,it was a very good experience, for myself
,,,and for the people around me
And for the Haitian community also
ولكن على المدى الطويل من الزمن
كانت تجربة جيدة جداً لي
وللأشخاص من حولي
ولمجتمع الهاييتي أيضاً
Her field is primary care medicine
تخصصها هو طب الرعاية الأولية
,,,,,,,,When she sees patients
,,,,,she listens the chest
,,,,,,,,,, looks at the skin
,,,,examines the belly
and the legs
عندما ترى المرضى
تستمع الى صدورهم
وتنظر الى جلودهم
تختبر معداتهم
وسيقانهم
,,,,Next year
she will be helping to start a clinic for Haitian patients two days a week
في السنة القادمة
ستساعد في بدأ عيادة للمرضى الهايتيين لمدة يومين في الأسبوع
,,,,,,,,In five years or so
,,,,,,,after her training is complete
,,,,Dr. Baptiste would like to return to Haiti
,,,,,,,,,to practice medicine in the rural areas
to help people and help the community
وخلال خمس سنين تقريبا
بعد أن يكتمل تدريبها
د. بابتايست ترغب في ان تعود لهاييتي
لتمارس الطب في المناطق الريفية
لتساعد الناس وتساعد المجتمع
,,,,,,,,,,,When we asked her if she had advice for us
,,,,,,she said
,,,Yes, I do have advice for you
The advice I will leave you with is for you
,,to have a lot of determination
,,,,and to know what you want to do
and to stick to what you want to do
عندما سألناها ان كان لديها نصيحة ما لنا
قالت
نعم أستطيع ان انصحكم
النصيحة التي سأتركها لكم
يجب أن يكون لديكم ارادة قوية
وان تعلموا ما لذي تريدون فعله
وان تتمسكوا بما تريدون
