الثورة الفرنسية ( ذا فرانش رفوليشن ) مع الحرية والمساواة والاخاء
اعطى شرارة spark to the Romantic Movement الى الحركة الرومانسية

من خصائص الشعر الرومانسي

Romantic poetry shows a new faith in man
يبين الشعر الرومانسي عقيدة الرجل ( نيو فيث ان مان )

It rejected rational intellect as the only source of poetry
ورفض الفكر العقلاني كونه المصدر (سورس) للشعر
and stressed imagination and intuition as the supreme faculties of the poet.
شدد على الخيال (اماجنيشن )والحدس (انتيويشن) كالكليات العليا للشاعر

The poet of the Romantics was a man speaking to men
وكان الشاعر من الرومانسيون رجل يتحدث الى الرجل
but he was endowed with some special insight into the nature of things
وكان لديه بعض الرؤيا الخاصة بالطبيعة (نيتشر)

Poetry to the Romantics is an expression of emotions
الشعرللرومانسيين هو تعبير عن المشاعر (ايموشنز)

موضوع مشترك ومتكررة في الشعر الرومانسي رجل في عزلة أو رجل مع الطبيعة.

The Romantic poetry is anti- heroic in the sense
that the subject of this poetry is common man
الشعر الرومانسي ضد البطولية يعني يتحدث عن الرجل العادي
ويستخدم لغة الناس العادية language of ordinary people

ميزة سائدة في الشعر الرومانسي is the sense of nostalgia for the past
الحنين الى الماضي

To a Romantic poet, the period of childhood was very important
فترة الطفولة مهمة في الشعر الرومانسي ( تشولتد )
. The child is nearer to nature than the grown- up man and he gains wisdom from nature.
الطفل اقرب للطبيعة من الرجل البالغ ويكتسب الحكمة من الطبيعة
Thus he loses his Natural wisdom. “The child is father of the man”, words worth says.
وبالتالي يفتقد حكمته الطبيعيية ( الطفل والد الرجل )
