Have you experienced earworms
All of us experienced this one day, we listen to a song or melody or any thing alike, and that thing sticks in your head and does not stop repeating in our head. That's called "earworm" and it's a little bit annoying, but the most important is that it's considered an exciting phenomenon to researchers. It's estimated that 90% of people experience earworms each week.
?What's so exciting about it
Because this song pops up in our heads effortlessly, so if we can know its technique we may be able to cure some memory loss cases and also it could help in learning. What if we recall information the way we recall songs.
"So my big hope is that that can tell us something about the automaticity of musical memory and its power as a tool for learning. So imagine if we could recall facts that we wanted as easily as we can bring new ones to mind without even trying."
This issue can be fixed though, by doing a crossword or going for a run. or even listening to another song.
I saw a website dedicated for helping people get rid of earworms by playing particular songs
That's it
Thank you all
