Here are some general comments that could help you improve your proposal:
- Please make sure that you are SPECIFIC. For example, 'communicative skills' seems to be a general area. How can we define it? do we mean speaking? Speaking is even general ! in speaking, there could more skills (e.g. fluency, complexity, accuracy...etc). In your case make sure you say that you want to focus on writing errors produced by X students in X school.
- Please make sure that your method can answer your research question (e.g. we can't use questionnaires to evaluate speaking/ find a better way of teaching...etc). I think you should basically ask students to write and analyse their errors.
- Please read the guide very carefully and follow the instructions (e.g.what to write in the SUBJECT line in the email...etc).
- I will give you more feedback on your first draft as the ideas become clearer (please follow the instructions on the guide as to the number of pages of the first draft as lengthy proposals will be rejected...etc)
