قبل عشرين سنة مضت في العديد من الدول أمكن للناس اختيار طرق كسب رزقهم
twenty years ago in many countries , people could choose their livelihood
و كانوا أيضاً على يقين من وظيفة لهم مدى الحياة , ولكنهم عادةً ليس لديهم الخيار في تغيير صاحب العمل إلى شخص أخر ولا تغيير الوظيفة إلى وظيفة أخرى
they also had the certainty of a job for life , but they usually couldn’t choose to change from one employer to another or from one profession to another

الاحوال تتفاوت من دوله إلى دوله , لكن اقتصاد اليوم أصبح أقل أمن وظيفي حول العالم
The situation varies from country to country, but in today’s economy, there is generally less job security worldwide .
حتى في اليابان,حيث الناس عادة معتادين على وظائف آمنه طوال الحياة , لا يوجد الآن ضمان استمرار وظيفة مدى الحياة
Even in Japan , where people traditionally had a very secure job for life ,there is now no promise of a lifetime job with the same company.
هناك سبب أدى إلى عدم وجود الآمن الوظيفي هو انخفاض وظائف التصنيع في جميع أنحاء العالم
One reason for the lack of job security is the worldwide decrease in manufacturing jobs.
وسبب آخر وهو أن رؤساء العمل بحاجة إلى عقد تخفيض التكاليف , وأدى هذان السببان إلى تغييرين هائلين في مجال القوى العاملة
Another reason is employer’s need to hold down costs . This has resulted in two enormous changes for the workforce
