Decadent is (in dictionaries) related to immorality, depravity, and decay.

Aestheticism is (in dictionaries) related to the beauty of art.

As movements: they are same.
They began at the late 19th C. started at France then moved to England and other European countries.

The main belief is that Art is superior to life.

Oscar Wilde was the leader of the movement.

Artifice is opposite to Nature. They preferred Artifice to Nature; so they are opposite to the Romantics. (ننادي عليهم ووردزورث)

There is no motif, lesson or purpose (moral or political). There is just written for enjoyment.

Wilde wrote a novel "The Picture of Dorian Gray" where he explained these movements.
