Bernard Shaw & Oscar Wilde :
The two important dramatists who took a predominant part in the revival of drama in the last decade of the nineteenth century
+ Both are both Irishmen.

Henrik Ibsen 1828-1906 :
is considered the Father of Modem realistic drama.
this is clear in Lady Inger of Ostrat (1855), Love's Comedy (1862), & The Pretenders (1863).
With his voluntary exile to Rome, he embarked upon his second stage which produced the poetic dramas of Brand (1866) & Peer Gynt (1867).
