will and shall

both are signs of the future tense

Will can be used with all persons, while we use shall only with I & we

Will can imply volition or intention, while shall can imply necessity.

تدل willعلى الإرادة والعزم

shallبينما تدل الحاجة والضرورة..

مثال

I will scale Mount Everest.
(and no one can stop me)
سوف أتسلّق جبل إفرست.
(ولن يستطيع أحد منعي)

You shall take the garbage out before you do anything else.
(“you have no choice, Junior!”)

ينبغي عليك أن ترمي القمامة خارجاً قبل فعل أي شيء آخر.
(وليس لديك خيار آخر صغيري)

yes, you can use "will" for things you are certain about, like I will go to the school/market ets

but "shall" is for conditional aspects

like when I say (study and you shall pass the exam) I am not so sure, I am going to pass
if I study

I might pass but I am not so sure I am going to pass

"ask and you shall recieve"

أسألني شي "اطلب مني شي" وسأعطيك او لا أعطيك

اما اذا قلت

"ask and you will recieve"

هنا يختلف ..... لاني اقول "اسألني وسأعطيك" شي مؤكد وقطعي

نرجع للمثل نفسه

"تفائلوا بالخير ... تجدوه"

اذا احد تفائل بالخير ... ممكن يجده وممكن ما يجده, والاصل انك تتفائل دائماً

وعموما ... اختلاف الرأي لا يفسد للود قضيه
