the candy tree
a little kid saves his last candy only to sow it in his backyard for more delightful possibilities. In a sequence of events recording his efforts to foster and defend the tree, the film tries to capture his love for the idea and his struggle to nurture the dream that he has sown
the candy acts as a synonym to his dreams and his efforts a metaphor to show how he believes in them
يخبئ صبي صغير آخر قطعة حلوى له، حيث يزرعها في الفناء الخلفي لمنزله. تمر السنوات ولا تنبت شجرة حلوى مكانها. يكبر ويصبح عجوزاً بينما يستمر باستراق النظر من حين إلى آخر إلى تلك البقعة التي زرع فيها قطعة الحلوى، ساخراً من تصرّفه الطفولي بمحاولة إنبات شجرة حلوى. لكن الأحلام قد تتحول إلى حقيقة بطريقة أو بأخرى، برغم من أن الراشدين قد يكونوا قد فقدوا القدرة على التخيّل ورؤيتها. |
