In our first lecture we have talked about different reading strategies such as getting meaning from context, identifying the main idea, skimming for the topic and main idea.
According to our recorded classes, what does “Getting Meaning from Context” mean or aim to? What does “main idea” mean”? What does “skimming” mean”? Answer two of the questions. Give examples.

The main idea: a sentence or two can Ajadha at the beginning or the middle or the end of the paragraph or the piece and they traditionally are in the beginning.
