يعني هي نفسها ما غيرت معنى الجمله و نقدر نستغنى عنها لأنها فقط وظيفتها تعطي تفسير اكثر

The subordinateclause “who were at school with me” is called arelative clause. It functions as a modifier of the NP “friends”.
