? what is the sunnah
The Sunnah involves the sayings, doings, practices, explicit or implicit approvals and disapprovals of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.b.u.h) expressed in the form of Hadeeths
ما هي السنة ؟ تشتمل على اقوال وافعال , ممارسات ظاهرة وباطنة , قبول ورفض للنبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم المعبر عنها بشكل احاديث

Unlike any other type of text translator, the translator of Prophet Muhammad’s Hadeethes (p.b.b.u.h) should have the following additional characteristics which would make him/her outstanding
خلافا لآي نوع آخر لمترجم النص , المترجم لحديث النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يجب ان تضاف فيه الخصائص التالية التي تجعل له بروز وتميز*
The translator should be a Muslim who fears Allah in executing his or her duties
ان يخشى الله في تنفيذ واجباتة
The translator’s general religious knowledge should be very good
يجب ان تكون معرفتة الدينية العامة جيدة جدا
The translator should have excellent knowledge of (TL), (SL) Text-Type, Subject-area and contrastive knowledge
يجب ان تكون معرفتة ممتازة للغة المستهدفة TL واللغة المصدر SL
The translator should be able to transfer into English the linguistic, social, cultural and religious associations and connotations of the original text
يجب ان يكون قادرا على النقل
The translator should be able to give as literal and faithful a translation of the meanings of the Hadeeths as possible. (i.e.. achieving maximum equivalence in his or her translation)
المترجم يجب ان يكون قادرا على اعطاء ترجمة حرفية ومطابقة لمعنى الحديث تماما لتحقق اقصى حد من التكافؤ في الترجمة
The translator should be able to provide a translation that is stylistically and communicatively appropriate. (ie. achieving the communicative purpose of his/her translation)
المترجم يجب ان يكون قادرا على توفير ترجمة ملائمة اسلوبيا وتوصليا لتحقق اقصى حد من التكافؤ في الترجمة
The translator should be able to write plainly, economically, gracefully and elegantly so that his or her translation would have the same effect on the TL reader as that of the Source language reader
المترجم يجب ان يكون قادرا على الكتابة بوضوح
