The key to Discourses is “recognition
مفتاح الخطاب هو المعرفة ..

If you put language, action,
interaction, values, beliefs, symbols, objects, tools, and places
together in such a way that others recognize you as a particular type
of who (identity) engaged in a particular type of what (activity) here
and now, then you have pulled off a Discourse

لما تبدا تجمع الفل وردة الفعل ولبرموز والمواضع...الخ
هتبدا تعرف عن نفسك (recognize ) من حيث هويتك(identity) ونشاطك وهنا فقط بتقدر تبدا تفهم وتبني الخطاب (Discourse )

The Discourses we enact existed before each
of us came on the scene and most of them will exist long after we
have left the scene

carry
on conversations with each other through history, and, in doing so,
form human's history

الخطاب اللي بنمثله موجود من قبل والولادة
والكثير منها سيبقى بعد موتنا
وهذا لانشاء التاريخ ومايسمى -شكل التاريخ البشري-(form human's history)

To make sense of that moment, you have to
recognize the identities and activities involved in it

لفھم تلك اللحظة، علیك أن تكون على معرفة
الھویات والأنشطة التي ینطوي علیھا ذلك

تعريف “recognition work.”
People engage in such work
when they try to make visible to others (and to themselves, as well)
who they are and what they are doing

تعريف العمل المعرفي هو
العمل المعرفي ىو ان الناس تشارك في كل عمل عندما تحاول ان تجعل الأمر واضح للآخرين ولأنفسهم ايضا
من ىم وماذا يفعلون
مهمه*يعني يثبتون انفسهم

what we learn & what we speak

اللغة الاجتماعية هي مانتعلم وما نتكلم

All languages, like English or French, are
composed of many (a great many) different social languages

كل اللغات شو ماكانت لازم يكون فيها اشكال مختلفه من اللغات الاجتماعية الخاصة فيها
