are you kidding?? Of course she has the right
she is the instructor and she has the right to say that if she doesn't want anyone to record her lectures
and if you can't write with her, ask her nicely to speak slowly. And inshalla she will
and if you are not regular students go and ask for permission to record
but don't say that she has no right not wanting any one recording her lectures
maybe she doesn't want anyone to record her voice and maybe she know about the many many mistakes these handouts have
last year. Many students didn't pass with dr.nagla coz she found out that many students wrote the same wrong answer in one of the questions and she knew it's from those handouts coz the answers were totally opposite to what she said during the lectures and it's totally wrong
