All the cows - except for a yearling , that is - went peacefully into the barn . This young animal was stubbornly refusing to go in . Uncle John and Dan , his adult son , were both pulling on the rope around the calf's neck , and the animal's hooves were firmly planted in the earth ten feet from the door of the barn . Nothing , it seemed would get that animal into the barn .
كل البقرات – باستثناء اللي عمره حوالي عام ((يعني عجل صغير)), ذهب سلمياً ((يعني لم يرغب الذهاب بلطف)) إلى الحظيرة .هذا الحيوان الصغير كان يرفض بعناد للذهاب إلى الداخل. العم ( جون ) و ( دان ) , ابنه الكبير , كانوا يسحبوا الحبل من حول رقبة العجل, وحوافر الحيوان زرعت بقوة ((أو نقدر نقول:محفورة على نحوٍ قاسِ)) في الأرض على بُعْد عشرة أقدام من باب الحظيرة . لاشيء , على ما يبدو, سيجلب هذا الحيوان إلى داخل الحظيرة.
