Would
is an auxiliary verb
The main verb after it is always the bare infinitive
هو احد الافعال المساعده ودائما يأتي الفعل الأساسي بعده مجرد بدون اضافات
ونستخدم هالفعل في عدة حالات
Use of Would
as a kind of past tense of will or going to
التصريف الماضي من الفعلينwill and going to
I thought it would rain so I brought my umbrella in reported speech:
اثناء نقل الحديث عن شخص اخر يعني حد قالك شي وجيتي نقلتيه لحد ثاني
("I will visit Tom.")
She said that she would visit Tom
to talk about past refusals He wanted to work there but his father would not agree
Conditionals
الجمل الاشتراطيه في حالة افتراض حدث في الماضي
يعني لو فعلت كذا لحدث كذا
If he studied hard he would pass the exam
use would when giving advice
لتقديم النصائح ونستخدم نفس الصيغة الاشتراطيه
If I were in your place I'd refuse. Desire
للحديث عن الرغبات بمعنى أود أن...
I would love to see you again .
Would you like some coffee?
Polite requests and questions
لصياغة الطلبات او الاسئلة بطريقة مهذبه
Would you pass the salt , please?
(more polite than: pass the salt, please.)
Would you go with me?
(more polite than: Will you go with me?) Wish
للحديث عن الامنيات بمعنى اتمنى لو أن
I wish you would stay.
(I really want you to stay. I hope you will stay.)
Remember that the main verb is always infinitive
