u r right
but regardless the frequency of the dose
there is something special in hyperlipidemia
if u see the biosynthesis process of cholesterol
u will find that the production of cholesterol is increased at night
and for that reason we give simvastatin at bed time or after dinner
because it has short half life and we want to maximize the therapeutic effect
any way this is not our question
