السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

Hope you are all doing well and are studying seriously!

I have requested one of the large classes and I've been given room 13-0 in building 68. You will be examined in that room at 11:00 sharp inshaaAllah. Try to be there at 10:45. If you don't know where that is, make sure you look for the room when you first get to college tomorrow so you don't waste time looking for it when it's time for the test. The test will be one hour from 11:00 to 12:00. No extra time will be given. There will be a 20 minute break and then class will resume at 12:20 inshaaAllah in our usual classroom.

Since I received a few emails regarding the practical part, I would like to clarify a few points.
1. You will be given anywhere between 15 to 30+ lines from An Essay on Criticism to write a critical essay on.
2. Sound and Sense is a PART of the essay itself.
3. In your answer, I expect you to write a complete well-written essay highlighting ideas that reflect the critical features of the Neo-Classicals in general and Pope in particular. Of course all the other usual aspects are also required such as but not limited to imagery, language, tone etc.
4. Make sure you pay attention to your language as you will be marked not only on your ideas but on language aspects such asunity, coherence, cohesion and conciseness.

Finally, if you have been paying attention in class, you should have no trouble at all tomorrow!
