hello my dear students !


For i promised to give you an overall idea about the final exam for reading 101, this email will fulfill your wish.



- as usual, you'll have a reading passage after which you'll need to answer some questions. Also, a vocabulary question of some new words that are mentioned in the passage should be done. Here, you have to understand, or at least guess, the meanings of the words from the sentence context, because these words are new to you, i think.

- a question of the parts of speech is necessary to be there.
Frankly, you don't have to memorize the different parts of speech we studied together, e.i. (develop, development, develpoing).
We will not give you a noun, for example, and ask you to write its verbs.
You will find the 3 parts of speech written there, and you need just to fill in the spaces according to the sentence structure.

- also, expect to have a short paragraph to read and choose its best main idea.


This is all !!




No need to consume your time studying how to summarize and paraphrase, this part will not be included in the exam.

As for the vocabs we studied together, don't spend much time knowing them. If the vocabs are included, you'll have very few words only. Also, you may not have any question about the studied vocabs.
