I'm tottally disagreed with what you said earlier, cause if we want to talk about this subject with ISLAM point of view, our Prophet Mohammad (salla allah 3leh wa salm) said that women time in their houses is considered as Worship, cause they are source of temptation,

he doesn't say or mention that its haram or halal about women driving
but what we understand that women are source of temptation as i said, so its better to stay home as much as they can, cause if they got used to get out, they will make temptation.
Allah has created human, and he knows better what goes in our heads and hearts
maybe you will disagreed with what i'm saying cause you have another point of view on how do you look or understand Islam ,

i dont undesrtand ISLAM in a different way,,i was talking about those who understand islam in their own way to serve their own benifit

2nd: even at the time of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) women were working and going out
his time is differen from now,,the modern life requires women to go out and work

and about that source of temptation>>woman would be so if she intended to do so
i mean she will tempt if she attempt

coz alotta of women working with men and they still respectful and decent
