. As we saw in the previous section, ditransitive verbs take two objects
. One of these objects is called a direct object and the other one is called an indirect object

احدى هذان المفعولان به يدعى ((direct object)) بمعنى:مفعول به مباشر ، والآخر يدعى ((indirect object)) بمعنى:مفعول به غير مباشر ..

:The indirect object comes first followed by the direct object in this example
عادةً المفعول به الغير مباشر ((indirect object )) يأتي في الاول ثم يُتبَع بالمفعول به المباشر ((direct object))، كالمثال التالي:

He gave me a book
me < هو مفعول به غير مباشر "indirect object" ..
a book < هو مفعول به مباشر "direct object"..

The indirect object is typically personal as in “me” in the previous example, and “the man” in the following example
الـ "indirect object" عادةً يكون ((شخصي)) مثل: “me” في المثال السابق و مثل: “the man” في المثال التالي:

He asked the man a question
the man < هو مفعول به غير مباشر "indirect object" وهو "personal"..
و a question < هو مفعول به مباشر "direct object"..
