3. Some structures such as verb to be (am, are, is) and their negative forms.

اول شي استعرض الدروس اللي تم شرحها بالمحاضره وطرح ثلاث اسئله وطلب اجابه 1 منها ..
عاد انتم اختارو واحد وحلوه ..

السؤالاال اول ..

What is the difference between skimming and scanning?

They’re alike in that you don’t

read all of the material. They’re different in the way you go about each.

In

scanning, you usually have a question to, or something specific to look for. It might be a

telephone number, a particular quotation in a book, or supporting facts to use in a d

iscussion you’re

having. When you scan, your goal is to find just the information you want. When you’ve found it,
you’re finished reading.

In

skimming, your purpose is quite different. You may be interested in the “gist” of an article, or you

may want to sample a book in the library before deciding to take it out. When you skim, you
alternate read and glance, and your goal is to o
btain an impression of the whole.

2. What are the rules of pronoun reference? give me two examples at least.

pronoun referencerules:
agree in number
If student wants high grades, they have to Study Hard
agree in pronouns
When someone comes to class,he should have his home work ready.

Present Verbs to Be
There are 3 present verbs to be;
1. Am
2. Is
3. Are
Am (used with I only) :-
1. Iam a student.
2. Iam happy.
3. Iam in the library now.
4. Iam from Saudi Arabia.
Is ( used with singular subjects)
1. He is a boy.
2. She is a girl.
3. It is an insect.
4. The car is new.
5. My friend is from Jordan.
6. Summer is hot now in Saudi Arabia.
7. Your pen is on the table.
Are ( used with plural subjects )
1. We are students
2. They are girls
3. You are boys/ a boy
4. The books are in the bag now
5. Samia and Reem are sisters
6. Our friends are very kind
7. His brothers are Fahd and Rami
