هذا النص والترجمه
و اعلم يا بني ان احب ما انت اخذ به الى من وصيتي تقوى الله و الاقتصار على مافرضه الله عليك , و الاخذ بما مضى عليه الاولون من ابائك, و الصالحون من اهل بيتك,فانهم لم يدعوا ان نظروا لانفسهم ,كما انت ناظر, وفكروا كما انت مفكر, ثم ردهم اخر ذلك الى الاخذ بما عرفوا و الامساك عما لم يكلفوا.
Let it be known to you my son that what I would most like you to follow from will is showing fear from Allah and confining yourself to those act which have been ordered by him. Among what I would like you to follow is the precepts of your an cestors ,and the well behaved among your relations ,since they did not spare themselves from contemplating about those matters which you are going to contemplating and since they had spent their time with those thoughts as you would ,and ultimately they adopted those merits by which they are known, and they left alone what is not ordered by Allah.
